CORPORATE CHRONOLOGY: Leadership in Advanced Tech Innovation
In the 2000s, PivotPoint spearheaded the open-source SysML (Systems Modeling Language) specification project, establishing it as the de facto architecture modeling language for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) applications. Throughout the 2010s, PivotPoint was at the forefront of merging MBSE, Modeling & Simulation (ModSim), and Digital Engineering ("Digital Twin") into the Model-Based Digital Engineering™ (MBDE™) approach. Now, in the 2020s, PivotPoint leads in amalgamating MBDE with Artificial Intelligence (AI), introducing Model-Based AI™ technology. This innovation aims to shift from Document-Centric & Code-Centric Systems Development to fully Executable, Artificially Intelligent System-of-System Architectures, which effectively constitute de facto Digital Twins.

Based on over two decades of hands-on mission-critical project experience, PivotPoint boasts a practical approach to Smart MBDE. This is evident from our legacy of guiding thousands of engineers, helping them harness the power of MBSE, SysML and ModSim best practices across diverse sectors, both commercial and defense. Our commercial endeavors encompass numerous global Fortune 1000 firms, spanning areas such as aerospace, automotive, trucking, telecommunications, SoC design, medical equipment, and robotic surgeries. On the government side, our portfolio includes collaborations with entities like NASA, FAA, the Armed Forces, multiple National Labs, and the Intelligence Community (IC). In this capacity we've applied expertise to projects related to space vehicles, unmanned vehicles (land, air, sea) BMC2, SATCOM, and the three legs of the nuclear triad.
