Onsite Training Logistics

The following training logistics information is provided for PivotPoint clients that are hosting Onsite training in their own meeting room or training facility. Contact us to discuss details.

Training Time Schedule

  • Standard Start/End Times: The standard Start/End Times for onsite training are 08:00-16:00 local time, with an hour break for lunch, and brief mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks for refreshments.
  • Changing Start/End Times: If you want to change the Start/End Times for your training, you need to coordinate this with your Instructor in advance of your training. When you request a change in your training times the total training time allocated per day (approximately 7 hours) should remain the same to ensure that your Instructor and students can efficiently cover all the training content allocated for that day. For example, if you want to end your training a half-hour earlier at 16:00, you should be prepared to either start a half-hour earlier at 08:00, or take a 30 minute lunch break instead of an hour lunch break.

Onsite Training Facility Prerequisites

  • Multimedia Projector: A multimedia projector system capable of use with the instructor’s laptop is required. The multimedia projector should be capable of:
    • minimum WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution (HD = 1920 x 1080 resolution is preferred)
    • minimum 2000 lumens brightness (brighter is preferred)
    • HDMI or VGA interface (HDMI is preferred)
  • Whiteboards: At least one large (4' x 6' or larger) whiteboard with fresh markers is required. Two whiteboards are preferred.
  • Seating: Adequate number of chairs and tables/desks for all students.
  • Internet WiFi / Mobile Phone Access: Either Internet WiFi access or mobile phone access for your Expert Instructor is required.
